Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026. Laugh-1-Laugh is a joke-reading app. This policy explains what little data it has and why.

What we collect

• An anonymous device ID. A random identifier created on your device. It is used to count your votes and submissions so the same device cannot vote twice. It contains no name, email, or anything that identifies you.
• Your ratings and jokes. When you rate or submit a joke, the rating, the joke text, an optional nickname you type, the joke's language, and the anonymous device ID are stored so everyone can see and rank the community's jokes.
• Reports. If you report a joke, the report is counted together with other reports.

What stays on your device

Your saved jokes, favorites, streak, badges, settings, and joke-language choice are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Advertising

Laugh-1-Laugh shows ads from Google (AdMob). The app is configured as child-directed: ads are non-personalized and G-rated. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure these ads. Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Children's privacy

The app is designed to be safe for children: no accounts, no chat, no personal information requested, and non-personalized advertising only. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data we do not have

We do not collect names, emails, locations, contacts, photos, or precise identifiers, and we do not sell data.

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page.
